Now nothing seems to work and I'm getting desperate. In the past, I encountered the same problem where no sound was coming out and all I had to do to fix it was rebooting, my pc. Speakers are working fine when connected to my phone or the motherboard. No sound is coming from my speakers at all when connected to the card. The card is recognized without a problem, Soundblaster connect software works fine I can even still control the RGB.

Some years back, on many models Dell offered an optional software upgrade from Creative. Internally, the XPS L502x model has a Realtek ALC 665 audio chip ( 5.1.) on the motherboard. It's been a few years since I answered questions about X-Fi, so you might have to refresh my memory. This model has the Sound Blaster X-FI MB Sound Card
